No more plastic lid on Penny’s 500gramm yoghurt cups
Penny removes plastic lids from its private-label 500 gramm yoghurt cups, thereby eliminates some 50 tons of plastic waste in its yearly operations. In return, the German discounter offers its customers 2 pieces of reusable plastic lids for 99 cents that are apt to seal yoghurt cups in a convenient and hygienic way. This step also serves Penny’s pledge to use 100 per cent environmentally friendly packaging by 2030.
