No more chocolate and sweets at the checkout in Kiwi stores
Norwegian discount retailer Kiwi would like to promote healthy food choices for shoppers by removing all chocolate and sweets products from the checkout zone. The initiative has been welcomed by the National Association for Public Health. At the moment the measure is being introduced in Kiwi’s 703 stores in Norway, where 1 in 4 consumers shop in Kiwi stores, realising more than 4 million transactions per week.
