Currently there is no way for more stringent control in EU imports
Hungary imports tens of millions of kilograms of pork and many hundreds of millions of liters of milk and dairy products each year.
A part of these products are suspiciously cheap, of uncertain origin and the product can not be followed. For imports there are no such strict safety testing, such for domestic foods. This must be changed. The German dioxin scandal pointed again to this deficiency – reports szabadfold.hu, after the communication of the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperators and Producers (MOSZ).
