Nielsen: consumer confidence is on ten-year peak
The confidence index of Hungarian consumers in the third quarter of 2017 broke records again. It has become 76 points, 5 points more than the pre-crisis peak value of 71-points.
In Europe, the average value is 87 points the online research conducted by Nielsen in sixty-three countries reveals. The Hungarian result increased by 6 points, while the European has increased by 2 points. The global consumer confidence index now stands at 105 points.
As in previous European quarterly data, the region’s consumer confidence varies widely: Denmark has 115 points while Ukraine has only 58 points. (Nielsen)
