Eight billion forints for half a million liters of hand and facial creams per year
Nearly 7 billion HUF worth, ie nearly 200,000 liters of face cream was sold in the Hungarian stores; hand cream sales are close to 1.5 billion HUF and 300 000 liters between September 2016 and August 2017, according to Nielsen’s retail chemicals index monitoring 80 product categories.
Retail sales of facial herbs exceeded six and a half billion forints in the period under review, which is a 4 percent increase in value and quantity, compared to the same period of last year. Typically, we buy the product in a drugstore: 82 out of every hundred forints are spent here, it is 189,000 liters of moisturizer per year. (Source: Nielsen)
