Nielsen: retail sales increased by four and a half percent in the last quarter of 2016
In terms of value, retail sales in Hungary increased by four and a half percent in the last quarter of 2016 – Nielsen measured the food and chemical products market.
With this result, retail sales growth in Hungary is much higher than the European average of 1.8 percent in the last quarter. The momentum of the continent remains “low” and is considered as low-growing market with a slight increase – according to Nielsen’s “Growth Reporter” quarterly analysis of Europe.
