Nielsen: sales of antidepressants increased one and a halffold in domestic retail
The value of antidepressants in Hungary increased by 48 percent in value and by 26 percent in volume between September 2018 and August 2019, according to Nielsen’s data on international trade chains’ domestic sales.
This amounts to 156 million HUF and 105 thousand boxes of tablets and capsules. Sales of mood boosters peak between October and December, at which point nearly 30 percent of volume traffic is realized. (Nielsen)
