Nielsen: the consumer confidence index declined by two points
The consumer confidence index decreased to 55 points in the second quarter in Hungary, compared to the 57 points of the first quarter. But it is still more than the 54 points of the fourth quarter of 2014.
Overall a downward trend characterizes the consumers' confidence in the sixty countries surveyed. Indeed, the global average of the index in the first quarter declined from 97 points to 96 in the second quarter – the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company’s quarterly survey reveals.
