Nielsen: increased food retail revenues
Retail revenues rose by 2 percent in case of the sales in the ninety-food categories continuously measured by Nielsen, between December 2012 and March 2013, compared to the previous comparable period.
During the last four months, the turnover reached approximately 440 billion HUF. In terms of volume, the stores sold 2 percent less, compared to a year ago – Nielsen’s Retail Index shows among others.
In terms of value vodka, chocolate bars, pralines, flour and margarine achieved a higher-than-average growth.
