Nielsen: hungarians drank 40 thousand hectoliters of cider over a year
Hungarians drank nearly 40 thousand hectoliters of cider between May 2017 and May 2018: 15 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
During the period under review Hungarians spent about three and a half billion HUF for cider, nearly one fifth more than a year before, according to Nielsen’s retail index.
Cider is a relatively new player in the Hungarian market, but soon found its place among the light alcoholic drinks: both in value and in quantity produced a two-digit increase in the category.
