Nielsen: seven percent increase in the household chemicals and cosmetics retail
Compared to January-October 2014, the retail sales of household chemicals and cosmetics increased by 7 percent to 290 billion HUF in the first ten months of the year. In terms of volume, sales remained unchanged – the Retail Index of the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company reveals.
Among the regions, the retail revenue of household chemicals and cosmetics increased in the southeastern counties above the average by 9 percent, while the growth in Budapest and Pest County was 8 percent. In the North East region the increase was an average of 7 percent, while in the Trandanubian counties the growth was 4 percent, compared to last year’s January-October period.
