Nielsen: túró rudi is the most popular chilled dairy snack
Hungarian consumers bought chilled dairy snacks for more than HUF 38 billion between August 2017 and July 2018 – sales were up 11 percent. This means that more than 14,000 tons of such products were sold, and sales improved by 7 percent. Hungarians like túró rudi the most, which realises two thirds of total sales in the category; value sales increased by 7 percent in the given period. It is in stores with a floor space above 400m² that we buy more than two thirds of all chilled dairy snacks.
