The Hungarian retail trade grew by 3.4 percent in the first quarter of 2017
In the first quarter of 2017, the turnover of Hungarian retail trade grew by 3.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year on the food and chemical market measured by Nielsen.
Compared to the European first-quarter average of 0.2 percent, this is particularly high. Only Turkey and Slovakia were developing more dynamically. The continent, therefore, continues to have a “stagnant foaming” momentum, a low growth market with barely noticeable increases – Nielsen’s “Growth Reporter” quarterly European analysis reveals among others.
