NGM: the Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Loan Program remains a huge success
In order to strengthen Hungarian businesses and increase their performance, the government decided at the end of 2023 to extend the Gábor Baross Re-Industry Loan Program by providing an additional HUF 200 billion fund until July 1, 2024, the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told MTI on Friday.
It was highlighted that the government provides a total of HUF 1,200 billion for the economy through the Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Loan Program, which is one of the country’s most successful loan programs to date.
Thanks to the government’s decision, domestic players in the automotive, food, pharmaceutical, construction, logistics, tourism-hospitality, telecommunications sectors and the green industrial transition can submit their applications for the products of the restarted Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Loan Program from January 15, 2024, they recalled. in the announcement.
As part of the loan program, the government provides extremely favorable financing for businesses, so economic operators can access 10-year loan and 5-year leasing products, with an interest rate of 5 percent in forints and up to 3 percent in euros.
