NGM: growth in retail sales by the end of the year
Retail sales increases further in the last two months of the year, partly due to the spendings on holidays – Pomázi Gyula, Deputy Minister of State responsible for Industry Strategy and Economic Governance told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
He added: the growth of the industry is dynamic and durable and lasts for 52 months. In addition to foodstuffs, the growth of non-food and durable consumer goods is also outstanding, resulting from past postponed consumption.
Sustained growth in consumption also contributes to GDP, and growth in demand also has a significant impact on production and on industry – he added. (MTI)
