NGM: the economic cooperation in the Carpathian Basin should be expanded further
The aim of the government is to develop an economic space in the Carpathian Basin by investing and strengthening business relations that will reach the level of economic integration of the Western European countries in the foreseeable future – Varga Mihály, Minister of National Economy said at the Carpathian Basin Economic Conference and Exhibition on Monday in Budapest, according to the ministry’s announcement.
He added that the economic policy based on wage increases and tax cuts was successful, and the Hungarian economy has gained an expansion in the past period, thanks to which Hungary has again caught up with the performance of the Central European countries. (MTI)
