NGM: customs and VAT revenues increased
In the first two months of the year, Hungary’s EU customs revenues increased with almost 5 billion HUF, while 4.3 billion HUF more Value Added Tax (VAT) flown into the state budget as a result of the National Economy Ministry’s (NGM), consultations with customers from the Asia-Pacific region to bring Hungary custom clearance – the Deputy Minister of State responsible for customs and international affairs said at the opening of the 5th National Tax and Customs Conference on Thursday in Debrecen.
Molnár Tamás emphasized that it is favorable that those who want to trade in Hungary carry out the customs clearance here. The Deputy Minister of State spoke about the renewal of the customs system as well. According to him, it is worth to consider a single, centralized system.
