NGM: the share of SMEs increased in export sales
The share of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Hungarian export sales increased by three percent over three years – turns out from the report on the situation of the SMEs in 2011 and 2012. The report was adopted by the government adopted at Monday's session – the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) informed MTI on Tuesday.
The document presents the measures taken in order business development and the results of state aid to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The report points out that the SMEs play a very important role in the Hungarian economy, as providing jobs to nearly two million people, ie. more than 73 percent of workers are employed there. The sector in 2011, produced 54.9 percent of the gross value added, while 55.2 percent of it in 2012 . (MTI)
