NGM: Sunday store closure did not cause a decline in retail trade
Sunday store closure did not cause a decline in retail trade – Lenner Áron Márk, Deputy Minister of State of the National Economy Ministry (NGM) told M1 news channel on Thursday in response to the Central Statistical Office retail data in April.
He added that it is an important result that both the food and non-food trade have increased. This indicates that people have confidence in the future and buy durable consumer goods as well, which are not part of the daily needs – he stressed. The retail sales continues to grow for over 22 months – he added. (MTI)
