NGM: the Hungarians have more purchasing power
The January retail sales increased by 8.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, which shows that the the Hungarian consumer purchasing power became higher.
The growth in purchasing power contributes to the dynamic growth of the economy – Lenner Áron Márk, Deputy Minister of State for the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told on M1 channel, describing the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). He added that the commercial sector is specifically gaining momentum, due to the increase in real incomes, improving employment, and the strengthening of the Hungarian economy. (MTI)
