NGM: real wage growth may continue this year
This year, the four-year rise of real wages can continue. The basis of the increase is the improved economic performance and the government’s economic policy – Simon Attila, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy NGM told M’ news channel on Monday.
He described: last year, the 5 percent increase of the minimum wage and the guaranteed minimum wage resulted in an around a 7.5 percent net wage growth. Under the wage agreement concluded in November last year the minimum wage will increase by 15 percent, while the guaranteed minimum wage will increased by 25 percent this year. In addition wage negotiations are ongoing in a number of sectors – he added. (MTI)
