NGM: handed over high-tech developments to Fábián Gergely Sárvár
Thanks to the support of economic revitalizing investments, the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) promotes sustainable and inclusive economic growth throughout the country, thus creating higher competitiveness and new perspectives in many rural settlements, the NGM wrote in its statement on Friday.
Thanks to the Food Industry Supplier Development Program, a total of HUF 33 billion in many counties
Successfully applying businesses can implement their development plans in 76 projects from the grant amount.
Thanks to the measure, Gergely Fábián, the NGM’s state secretary responsible for industrial policy and technology, handed over the food industry developments implemented at the Sága Foods Zrt. plant in Sárvár on Friday.
Sága Foods Zrt. also successfully applied for the Food Supply Development Program, and the investment just handed over was also realized within this framework. The company spent HUF 440 million in support so that, thanks to the technological development of the plant producing meat products, it can serve commercial needs at a higher level. This includes the creation of a new, higher-performance meat product slicing line, which also received an automated packaging unit. The expansion enables flexible handling of market demands, improves hygiene parameters, thereby helping to increase the warranty period. The investment also includes the purchase of an innovative automatic mechanical loading and stacking robot, which increases the plant’s efficiency.
Another advantage of robotization is that it can implement an integrated product manufacturing process that supports measurability and the elimination of errors. Another advantage of the project is that the work processes of the plant
by becoming more energy efficient, they also reduce the environmental burden – explained the NGM.
