NGM: the government continues the program to expand the number of credit card acceptance points
The government decided to support another 30,000 credit card acceptance points, with the help of the government program announced in December 2016.
The government program will allow you to pay for cards in 60,000 stores and service providers in Hungary, where it was not possible before, the National Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told on Thursday.
The aim of the government is to encourage the spread of modern electronic payment methods to modernize the domestic payment infrastructure, to increase the competitiveness of the domestic businesses and to increase the level of cash inflows to a higher level, Hornung Ágnes, Minister of State of NGM told.
