NGM: export pulled the expanding industrial production
The industrial production in August was 4.4 percent above the year-ago level, while total sales were 2.5 percent higher, than in August 2010 – said the National Economy Ministry (NGM) in response of the Friday communication of the Central Statistics Office (KSH).
The Ministry also notes that the the positive process in exports continued in the last month of the summer: (seasonally and working day-adjusted) foreign sales increased by 1.3 percent, compared to the datas of July. Industrial production in the first eight months rose by 6.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. Volume growth was experienced in all regions of Hungary – reports MTI.
