NGM: the market followed the changes came with the Sunday rest day
The market followed the changes came with the Sunday rest day: there is a labor shortage in the Hungarian retail, on which the companies operating in the sector may react with wage increases – Lenner Áron Márk, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel.
Lenner Áron Márk responded to the idea that Auchan raised employee wages with an average of ten percent and a competition began among supermarket chains for labor force. He told M1 that it is positive that the market followed the changes, so the negative predictions about expected layoffs in connection with the Sunday rest day were not fulfilled. (MTI)
