The government considers the small and medium-sized enterprises as strategic partners. As a sign, the SMEs have benefited several tax incentives since 2011.
Pankucsi Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State for the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), told at the ministry's press conference in Budapest on Friday that with the 10 percent tax rate up to 500 million HUF annual sales revenue, Hungary has the most favorable to the corporate tax rate, in the European Union after Bulgaria.
Pankucsi Zoltán underlined that according to the ministry's most recent estimates the Hungarian enterprises with the 10 percent corporate tax rate from 2010 by the end of 2014 won over 700 billion HUF. (MTI)
