NGM: the demand supports the strengthening of foreign trade
Behind the upturn in foreign trade the strengthening of external and domestic demand can be both observed – the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) commented to the report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) that was published on Monday.
The Central Statistical Office reports that the value of exports (calculated in euros) increased by 6.0 percent in February, while the imports increased by 6.1 percent, compared to the previous year. The trade balance surplus increased by 41 million euros to 848 million euros, compared to the previous year and was 139 million euros higher than in January. (MTI)
