NGM Deputy Minister of State: the growth of retail sector is continuous for 43 months
Retail turnover is continuously increasing for 43 months. The above average January sales growth is due to the fact that because of higher wages that arrived in February, confidence increased and people dared to spend boldly – Marczinkó Zoltán István, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Thursday, in response to the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the latest publication of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the volume of retail stores in January increased by 4.8 percent, according to the raw data, while calendar effect adjusted increased by 3.8 percent, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
