New wheat opened at 42,800 forints in July
According to data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in July 2017 agricultural production prices were 3 percent higher than in the same period of 2016. This rise was the result of the price of vegetable products decreasing by 1.4 percent and livestock/products of animal origin prices increasing by 11 percent from the base period level. Like-for-like cereal crop prices reduced by 3.9 percent: wheat’s price was up 11 percent and corn’s price was down 11 percent. New wheat cost HUF 42,800 per ton in July 2017. //
