International sommelier exam
The International Sommelier Association (ASI) organised this year’s international sommelier exam in Hungary – for the second time. László Kovács, president of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) was the jury’s president. No less than 75 sommeliers took the exam and 57 of them passed. All 3 Hungarian sommeliers were successful: Máté Horváth (Mák Bistro) and Norbert Kovács (Hotel Steirerschlössl) both got a Gold Diploma, while Imre Rácz (Mák Bistro) earned a Silver Diploma. //
