The Hungarian-owned Szafi Products received an international award
The winners and honorees of this year’s World Plant-Based Innovation Award 2023, organized by the FoodBev Awards, were announced at the North American World Plant-Based Innovation Award 2023. In the prestigious competition, the products of a domestic manufacturing company, Szafi Products kft., were also awarded.
The FoodBev Awards organization, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, is today considered to be the most authentic and recognized awarding ceremony influencing the international food and beverage industry. This year’s new plant-based innovation category posed an exciting challenge to the 8-member professional jury, who had to select the best of the best.
Szafi Products Kft was nominated for the innovation award in two categories: in the plant-based functional product category with their Szafi Life Special Flour Mix, and in the health innovation category with their Szafi Life Iron Formula. They competed with well-known brands such as OnlyEg, ZenB and the domestically known doTERRA, which in itself is an honor for them, being a Hungarian manufacturing company.
“We are extremely proud that at such a prestigious and recognized world competition, our Szafi Life Special Flour Mix was praised by the professional jury, and our iron product finished as a finalist in the competition. With this result, we can rightly declare that Hungarian Szafi products have been added to the world map of plant-based innovation”
– said Anita Ipsits, co-owner of Szafi Products Kft.
