Too Good To Go now offers a home delivery service for excess food in Germany
Too Good To Go now offers home delivery of surplus food parcels. The company buys food that would no longer be sold in traditional stores. The packages include goods from well-known brands at discounted prices.
Campaigning against food waste, Too Good To Go is expanding its range in Germany with delivery of packets of excess food. The company buys products from manufacturers and retailers that can no longer be sold in traditional shops. Too Good To Go creates „themed” packages of these goods and delivers them directly to app users at a discounted price.
According to a press release from Too Good To Go, food brands, retailers and manufacturers can generate additional revenue and reduce food waste by simply working together with the platform. Users can find the offers in the app under the “Delivery” button and filter by categories such as „Snacks” or „Pantry”. According to Too Good To Go, the price of products in the packages can be up to 60% less than regular retail prices.
Too Good To Go packages have already been successfully launched in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and France. They are now also available in Germany with brands such as Bauck Mühle, Lebensbaum, Freche Freunde, Halloren, as well as with Taste Religion and Heimatgut products from the Höhle der Löwen contestants. Spice producer Just Spices and preserves producer Del Monte are also collaborating with Too Good To Go in Germany.
