Germany has a positive attitude towards the Silk Road Initiative
Germany has a positive attitude towards China’s Silk Road Economic Zone initiative and can take part in its implementation – said German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday after meeting with China’s Chinese Head of State Huin Chin-ping.
She stressed that Germany is eager to take part in the commercial development initiative and hopes that it will be implemented through a transparent tendering system.
Germany intensifies its relationship with China in a number of cases, including the fight against international terrorism and information security. Berlin and Beijing work more closely in third countries as well. (MTI)
