Conscious home stores did not save on improvements
According to KSH data, in 2020 the volume of domestic retail sales decreased by 0.3% compared to a year earlier, so the coronavirus outbreak and the accompanying restrictions broke an expansion process that has been going on since 2013. However, when we consider that GDP fell by 5.1% over the same period, the retail sector has proved to be particularly crisis-proof, where technological developments have not been overshadowed. This is evidenced by the fact that laurel group, the market leader in commercial IT, was able to increase its net sales by 22% in one year.
