Agriculture was not great last year

Agriculture did not contribute to last year’s economic growth
Minister of Finance Varga Mihály said at the ministry’s press conference in Budapest that only agricultural performance was disappointing due to the bad weather. He added, however, that the performance also exceeded his previous expectations, as they were still expecting only 6.3 percent at the end of last year, and inflation in January this year jumped to a long-standing high of 7.9 percent.
