McDonald's flash report did not cause a surprise
McDonald's reported an increase in revenues and profits in its quarterly flash report, which caused no surprise, the datas are consistent with the expectations.
McDonald's revenue increased by 9 percent in the first quarter of 2011, compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The company's net profit jumped by 11 percent.
The results of the fast food chain met the analysts' expectations. 6.01 billion USD was expected, compared to the realized 6.11 billion USD revenues, while the earnings per share was 1.15 USD, compared to the forecasted 1.14 USD – reports portfolio.hu.
