Goverment cuts utilities prices further
The government could reduce retail gas, electricity and district heating prices again this year after cutting them by 10% from 1st January, a new annoucment on kormany.hu tells us. The second reduction of the year, also a 10% cut, could take place in March or April, the paper said. It could be followed by another “significant” reduction in utilities prices, also probably 10%, later in the year, it added.
