The Rossmann Courier does not ring the bell if they are carrying baby products
This year saw the launch of one of Rossmann’s newest initiatives, which specifically aims at the comfort and peace of mind of new parents and their babies. The service provides unique attention to customers who order baby products from Rossmann’s webshop.
As of January, in the case of online orders delivered with Rossmann Courier, the drugstore also makes sure that if the package contains baby products, the arrival of the courier does not disturb sleep time. The system intelligently identifies the contents of the customer’s basket and, if it finds baby products, forwards this information to the courier, whose task is to try to reach the customer with a baby by phone during the delivery to the address. He sends out the expected arrival via SMS in advance, and tries to communicate quietly with the recipient by phone even after arriving at the location. It does not knock or ring so that it does not accidentally wake up the sleeping seedlings.
Ádám Fürjes, head of the Rossmann webshop, emphasized that the aim of the service is to make the everyday life of parents easier, especially with regard to the sleeping habits of babies.
