The companies are in a difficult position for the third wave
The companies are in a difficult position for the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the results of the R&D confidence index of SMEs. The second wave affected 9 out of ten SMEs, necessitating austerity measures in more than half of the companies. For most businesses, declining domestic demand and changed work processes have so far made it difficult.
The protracted pandemic situation is having an increasingly severe impact on Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises. “According to the results of the Q&A SME Confidence Index research in the fourth quarter of 2020, the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic hit companies in a difficult situation, as the second wave left a serious mark on the operation of the domestic SME sector.
