Fourfold increase in the amount of household machinery replacement

The Ministry of National Development (NFM) will raise the subsidy amount of the household machinery replacement from 600 million HUF to 2.6 billion, so every successful applicant will receive the grant of between 25-45 thousand HUF to buy energy efficient refrigerators or freezing equipment, washing and drying machines.

With the increase in the budget, more than 61,000 households can replace their household appliances, which will result in a further 12-20 thousand forints reduction in annual household expenditures – Szabó Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of National Development responsible for Development and Climate Policy. He said that the evaluation of applications is coming to an end, it is expected to be closed by Christmas, and all applicants will receive an e-mail notification. (MTI)
