Avian flu strikes again
In the herd of about 3,500 fattening geese in Kiskunmajsa, Bács-Kiskun County, the increased mortality and nervous system symptoms drew the keeper’s attention to the suspicion of avian influenza. The Nébih laboratory confirmed the presence of the H5N1 subtype of the virus in the herd. (MTI)
