Nébih: contaminated eggs has reached Hungary
Pesticide drug, fipronil contaminated eggs and egg products were found in Hungary. There were residues in the products that did not endanger the health, so their consumption did not pose a health risk, whether the Nébih ordered the withdrawal of the products from circulation – the National Food Chain Safety Office announced.
According to the National Food Chain Safety Office’s announcement, an alert was sent through the European Food and Feed Safety Alert System (RASFF) for the Tamago Ei-Omelett-Block frozen semi-finished product of which was also transported to a Hungarian company, the Asia Gastro Food Ltd. from Germany.
