Nébih: Hungary’s food security level remains good
The level of food safety in Hungary continues to be good, because less than 0.9 percent of the notifications in the EU’s rapid alert system were related to products produced in Hungary – according to the European Commission’s (EC) recently published report.
The European Commission compiles a summary each year over the notifications published in the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) informed MTI about the lastest summary. According to the summary, last year 114 Hungarian-related cases were on the RASFF list of which 96 was food, 13 was feed and 5 was materials contacted with food products related. (MTI)
