Nébih: marking errors were found in the examination of glassy horseradish
Due to the upcoming Easter, glass horseradish was examined by the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih), everything was fine from the food safety point of view, however, due to labeling errors, official proceedings were initiated for 15 products.
The agency inspected 26 bottled horseradish in a test of the Supermenta program. Of the products examined, 5 came from Polish producers and 21 were made in Hungary. The experts mainly examined the highest proportion of products without special flavorings in the range, as well as the spicy horseradish, of which eight were inspected. (MTI)
