Nébih: infected wild boar was found in Fejér county
Infected wild boar was found in Fejér County. The dead animal was found on the outskirts of Bicske village. African swine fever (ASP) virus was detected on Tuesday in the laboratory of the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih), the agency said on its website.
The case has been notified to the European Commission and the partner countries concerned by the national chief veterinarian.
According to the report, the dead infected wild boar was found on the edge of a previously declared infected area of Fejér county near Komárom-Esztergom county. The disease may have spread from Komárom-Esztergom county with the natural spread of ASP in wild boars. (MTI)
