Nébih: Penny-Market Kft recalled bacon
Penny-Market Kft. is recalling Dárdás cooked, smoked, quick-cured, 300-gram Caesar bacon due to an unmarked soy allergen, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI on Thursday.
The office asks customers who are sensitive to soy that MITROS Fleischwaren doo. do not consume products manufactured by Dárdás imperial bacon is taken back at the place of purchase, and the purchase price is refunded even without a block.
Nébih indicated on its website: the legislation in the European Union states that the ingredients that most often cause allergies or intolerances must be listed on the food label, including cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk and nuts.
They added that a hypersensitivity reaction is most often caused by proteins and only in individuals who are sensitive to them. The immune response can be immediate or delayed, most food allergies are immediate. Allergies most often appear in the form of skin symptoms (rash, redness, eczema), respiratory symptoms (runny nose, asthma) and digestive system symptoms (diarrhea, bloating).
