Nébih: only a fraction of the notifications in the EU alert system concerned Hungarian products
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) published on its website, referring to the annual summaries of the European Commission that only 0.7 percent of the almost four thousand notifications in the RASFF concerned Hungarian products.
Last year about 3800 original notifications were sent to the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), 90 percent of which was linked to food. The number of new notifications has risen by 24 percent, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
