Nébih: the products of the small producer who is under investigation caused the disease
The products of a small producer from Eger, caused the botulism disease in June – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Tuesday at the request of MTI.
The competent food supervisory authority extended the food safety investigation with 60 days, so the final results are expected by the end of August.
Since the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) has launched its investigation in the case, no new botulism cases were recorded, presumably due to effective public notice – the authority added. (MTI)
