Nébih: the distributor withdrew Bertolli sauce from the market
The distributor Maresi Foodbroker Kft. (Budapest) has recalled the product “Bertolli Pesto Calabrese sauce with red pepper, ricotta and extra virgin olive oil, 185 g” which expires in February 2024, due to an unmarked mustard allergen – the National Food Chain Safety Office has drawn attention (Nébih) in a statement sent to MTI on Thursday.
The affected product, also marked with item ID LF 043, can be returned to the place of purchase, and its price will be refunded even without a block, Nébih said.
The authority asks customers who are sensitive to mustard not to consume recalled products that match the identification data on the website.
