NAV: More than 1,300 cartons of untaxed cigarettes were found at the passengers of an airplane
Employees of the National Tax and Customs Administration seized 1,343 cartons of cigarettes from five passengers traveling on one flight at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, the agency told MTI on Tuesday.
Five passengers from Abu Dhabi entered the country through the green corridor, no goods subject to customs duties were declared by them, NAV reported.
When inspecting passengers’ suitcases, financiers found 1,343 cartons of cigarettes in addition to the 200 cigarettes per person that could be imported duty-free. (MTI)
